Privacy

Warpstar is an independent trip-planning app. It's built so your trips stay yours. This page explains what we store, who can see it, and what you can do about it.

What we store

Who can see what

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking.

Apple services

Place search, place names, countries and cities, and travel times are looked up with Apple Maps, so those searches go to Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Your location is used on your phone only, to show you on the map and estimate travel times; we never upload it.

Where it's kept

Data is stored on your device and with Cloudflare (database and file storage), which may process it in data centers outside your country.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. Settings → Delete account removes your account, the trips you own (including for anyone you shared them with), and your connections from our servers straight away. Database backups that may still contain it expire within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit everything in the app, hide any trip from your profile, remove followers, leave shared trips and delete your account. To ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, email us. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have further rights, and we'll honor them.

Children

Warpstar isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
